For intruder alarm systems, 'bells-only' alarms deter intruders and many alert passers by, but will not get you an automatic police response. Insurers will normally insist that a remotely 'monitored alarm' is installed, where activations are sent to our monitoring centre, ensuring the police are contacted on your behalf in the event of a confirmed signal. Signals are filtered for false activations, avoiding the risk of losing police response to your alarm.

A number of different options are available for an intruder alarm using remote signalling, including speech diallers, digital communicators, redcare and redcare GSM.

SPEECH DIALLERS

When your burglar alarm goes off the reality is that in most situations it is ignored. Many people view the alarm siren as a nuisance and do not call the police or bother to investigate. The speech dialler offers a solution.

The speech dialler is the ideal companion for virtually any alarm control panel as it provides additional protection, rather than relying on the outside bell to attract attention. When the alarm is triggered, the speech dialler will ring a combination of four different numbers (including mobile phones) to alert people you know and trust so they can investigate appropriately, or alternatively send a text message.

The unit stores up to four pre-recorded messages which can be used to warn of four different situations, e.g. burglary, personal attack, fire etc. These are specific to your alarm system and can be changed as often as desired.

The speech dialler is simple to operate with clear 'on-screen' instructions guiding you through programming messages and telephone numbers.

Recording a message is easy as the speech dialler has a built-in microphone and speaker. If a message is not acknowledged, then it is repeated for one minute after which the dialler aborts the call. It then dials the next number.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATORS

Should you require more than just the bells ringing in the event of an alarm activation, Digital Communicators will send a signal to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), who in turn will notify the appropriate emergency services or keyholders.
